Four Men and a Boat
Nonfiction: My memoir, Ten New Year’s Eves, is in the works. For now I’m focusing on fiction, but I expect to return to the memoir before too long. The story spans 10 years from divorce to contentment through Prague, Madrid, the British Virgin Islands, and seven other locations. I invite you read an excerpt: Four Men and a Boat.
Speaking: I enjoy speaking to groups. I’ve presented to more than a dozen statewide organizations about media relations. In 2024, I was delighted to serve as an artist in residence with The Aurora Project in West Virginia. The Project is an inspiring initiative to promote the arts in Appalachia. At the end of the residency, I conducted a workshop where we explored creative approaches to journaling.
